Who are we?
Whether in the pages of our quarterly German print magazine, evolve magazine for consciousness and culture or through teaching the practice of Emergent Interbeing or in any other of our events, we strive to create contexts where the wisdom of the sacred can shine between us.

What is the Interbeing Monastery?
The Interbeing Monastery is an online platform open to all - a sacred sanctuary in challenging times.
Within the virtual walls of the Monastery, the participatory offerings of evolve World will be further developed and expanded, providing a new home for our Emergent Interbeing practice, meditations and dialogue courses. This will be the nexus point where the vitality of Interbeing is explored and unfolded.
In addition, a living ‘ecology of practices’ will be developed to offer guests space to explore and integrate all dimensions of our human experience.
And last but not least, the Interbeing Monastery will connect visitors with a network of communities around the world that are creating landing places for the sacred in different and evolving ways. These are places where the mystery and power of what we experience as sacred can blossom between us.
The Interbeing Monastery will be non-denominational and largely free of charge.

It is currently possible to join the following regular practices:
Daily Online Meditation: 6:30-7:30 am CET, followed by an informal dialogue. (Dialogue in German.)
Lectio Divina Sunday: a short monthly retreat with meditation and shared reading of sacred texts from various sources.
Interbeing Tea Dialogues, a ritual-driven space for a shared exploration of our most pressing existential questions in a field of shared presence. They are offered online every month.

Who will come together at the Interbeing Monastery?
Through events such as One World Rising or One World Bearing Witness, evolve World reaches an engaged audience of more than 6000 people, who will be the first invited to take part in the Interbeing Monastery.
We then look forward to welcoming new participants who can continue to discover and engage with this inspiring program.
Why are we asking for donations?
To build the Interbeing Monastery, we are seeking to raise €75,000.
Your generous gift will go toward designing and programming this online space, developing the systems to support the Monastery, and communicating about the Interbeing Monastery to further develop our existing global audience.
How can I donate?
Unlike the monasteries of the Middle Ages, which took hundreds of years to build, the Online Interbeing Monastery can be constructed in a matter of months.
It is not built from stone, but from commitment, lines of programming code, membership fees and your donation.
To stay with the metaphor of building a monastery, we ask for donations in any amount or symbolically for a stone, a meditation cushion, a window or a doorway.

We are a small volunteer team and employ very few staff and external service providers.
Our work is donation-based.
The realization of technical projects such as the Interbeing Monastery are complex and costly. According to standard economic criteria, this project could not be realized.
However, we believe that the initiatives at evolve World that create a vibrant culture of togetherness and a deeper understanding of Interbeing are of great cultural value. Cultural meaningfulness and resonance are more important to us than pure profitability.
What are the donations used for?
Setting up, organizing and administrating an online platform like evolve World and the Interbeing Monastery requires a lot of financial resources.
A small portion of the donations goes towards software licenses that we use to operate the platform.
The majority of the funds required are staff costs for our office and costs for our external service providers, as we cannot realize professional programming, marketing and community management with volunteers alone.
What is the outlook for the future?
evolve World and Interbeing Monastery will be self-supporting through membership fees after a start-up phase. Until then, we plan to finance the costs incurred through the donations we raise.
